After the huge build-up, the Big Day itself will pass in a flash but you will return time and time again to the photographs to relive your happy day. I cover weddings and civil partnerships of all types, from the most intimate celebration to full-scale parties for hundreds of people. Whatever the size and style of your wedding, I will give you 100% dedication and create images reflecting the unique nature of yourselves and your special day.

How soon should I book you? If you like my work and me. As soon as you are sure of your wedding date, book as soon as you want to secure that date with me I am often booked months in advance, so the earlier you contact us, the more likely I will be available for your Wedding!
Why should I book you? Iwill work closely with you to ensure that your Wedding Photographs truly reflect yourselves, your tastes and the unique atmosphere that you will have worked so hard to create at your wedding. Richard will then give you 100% dedication on the day. He is a friendly, fast-working photographer with an artist’s eye and a truly professional approach.
Tell me about Richard Kerber. I am a qualified competent photographer who will not let you down. I have always been interested in photography and opened my first studio in 1983 in Islington, moving the business to Whetstone in 1995 and in 2015 working from Welwyn Garden City I am a full-time Wedding, portrait, schools and events photographer. I’m friendly, approachable and (some people say!) a good laugh !! As well as my photographic skills I will put you at ease on your wedding day, which will result in natural expressions and unforced smiles!
What is your style of photography? My style is a blend of what is commonly called reportage photography, along with stunning contemporary portraits of Bride & Groom, and the more classic (but still fun!) group photographs which make your album complete. The reportage approach allows you to relax and enjoy your day without endless posing. The photographs are spontaneous and natural, clearly showing what a great day everyone had, as well as capturing little moments that might have otherwise gone unnoticed. You will also want a record of the important people at your wedding and that is where the group photographs fit in and provide a complete picture of the day. Bride & Groom portraits, although directed and posed to a certain extent, ensure that your love and happiness shines through. This blend of photography captures the true essence of your wedding and gives you sensational images to cherish in years to come.
Is your style right for me? If you have read this far, I would guess the answer is yes! If you have looked at my work and like my mix of natural spontaneous images with contemporary portraits, then the style is definitely right for you and you should ring as soon as possible to have a chat or book.
What areas do you cover? I am based in Welwyn Garden City. However, I provide a national and international service, and are happy to cover weddings nationwide and abroad.
