With over 30 years experience, I love photographing people and capturing their personalities as well as marking their family history. Kids grow up so fast; it is all too important to record those moments and what better way than to have your portraits as original works of art, up on your walls.
Photography for me is the whole creative process leading up to delivering a set of images beyond my clients expectations.
Starting with a chat with the client to explore what they are looking for and suggestions and ideas to achieve this and planning the session.
The studio or location session itself. Although planned there is always room for spontaneity and ideas for experimentation. Above all it should be a fun and enjoyable experience.

When I don’t have a camera in my hand or working in front of a computer I like to relax by playing the guitar and singing. I’m often told I could make a lot of money with my music....by people paying me to stop and go away.

My philosophy with portrait and wedding photography is simple.
Give the client images that would exceed their expectations, images that I would wish for myself.
Produce the work with minimum of disruption and fuss... Portraiture with children loses spontaneity and boredom sets in if too long. At a wedding you don’t want to spend along time away from the fun and the guests while the soup goes cold.
Make the photography a fun and engaging process, it’l show in the finished results.
